Bushscout.UK is a National Scout Active Support Unit for The Scouts. Our membership is made up of Volunteers from all over the UK most of who have been or still are active Section Leaders all of whom have a passion for teaching traditional and practical Scouting skills to other Scout Leaders. Our unit is split up into regions which can be seen below, each region has a Co-Ordinator appointed to mange it's local members and events.

Our main purpose is to provide Training for Adult Volunteers within The Scouts, we also support a number of Large Scouting events around the UK. 

Some of the subjects we cover on our training days are as follows:

Knife Safety & Skills, Axe/Saw Safety & Skills, Backwoods Cooking, Tarpology & Tents, Fire, Kelly Kettles & Water Purification, Pioneering, Crafts and Game Preparation.

We are also delivering Safe Tomahawk Throwing for Young People courses for Adult Volunteers to attend across the Country.

Our Regions...

Bushscout.UK is split in to 10 regions and each region is assigned a National Coordinator to look after the geographical area. Our aim is to be able to provide one skills day per region every year.
